What Australians are laughing at...

Radio and television personalities Hamish and Andy are some of the hottest comedic talents in Australia at the moment. Thought it might be interesting to share a bit of their recent road trip from Melbourne to Darwin with you. They have a very Australian sense of humour. Hope you enjoy it!

So what's the verdict? Are they funny or not? What do you think? I personally think they are hilarious, but that's just me.

Couldn't agree more, they are hilarious. I have been following them on the radio and they always crack me up.

I always wonder how they find out about all of the cool places/people they visit.

My partner and I are planning our next Australian road trip on http://www.eplanner.com.au and there are heaps of cool activities, but you just cant find the sort of things they do online.

Jonathan-Thanks for stopping by. Glad you like Hamish and Andy too. I've only recently started listening to their radio show. It's so bloody funny. They can make a joke out of anything. Good luck on your trip!

I had never heard of them. I loooove their accents. I'm so jealous you get to hear that every day. :-) Well, you know, from other people.

My favorite part was the comment that the crocodiles could only give them Indian burn.

I've been to Coober Pedy. Basically just got off the train and ran up a dirt mountain. Also, had breakfast at a small dinner.

Do you ever do family road trips?

Thanks for sharing!

stilllife--Glad you enjoyed it. Wasn't sure if the humour was going to translate or not. We haven't been on any family roadtrips as our kids are quite young and we spend all of our travel time and dollars on trips to the USA to visit my family. That's the unfortunate reality of this lifestyle choice--it limits your holiday destinations.

I can understand that--totally.

BTW--I discovered The Pioneer Woman this week and have been sucked into the vortex of her site and photos. Makes me want to move to Oklahoma and marry a Handsome Cowboy.

If I weren't married to a Handsome Engineer. ;-)

stilllife--Pioneer Woman's site is amazing. You'll spend heaps of time there. I don't know how she manages it all. She's one busy lady. I found heaps of inspiration there for Thanksgiving food. Just love it!
